Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Marrakech & free sightseeing

Arrive in the vibrant city of Marrakech, where you'll be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to rest and relax, or enjoy a leisurely stroll around the city’s famous Djemaa el-Fna square and its surrounding medina.

Day 2 - Marrakech Sightseeing & Drive to Imlil (Atlas Mountains)

After breakfast, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Marrakech. Visit the iconic Jardin Majorelle, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the bustling souks. In the afternoon, drive to Imlil, a small village nestled in the heart of the Atlas Mountains. Your accommodation for the night will be the charming Riad Bab Imlil, where you'll unwind in traditional Moroccan comfort.

Day 3 - Trek to Matat Valley

After a hearty breakfast, begin your trek from Imlil to the scenic Matat Valley. This 5-hour hike takes you through lush valleys, terraced fields, and Berber villages, providing an immersive experience in the natural beauty and culture of the region. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by stunning landscapes before returning to Imlil for the night.5 hours walk.

Day 4 - Trek to Tizi Mzik Pass (2450m)

Today’s trek takes you to the Tizi Mzik Pass, which sits at 2450 meters above sea level. This challenging 5-hour hike offers panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains and surrounding valleys. Upon reaching the pass, enjoy a well-deserved lunch while soaking in the breathtaking scenery. Afterward, descend back to Imlil for your overnight stay.6 hours walk.

Day 5 - Trek to Chamharouch Shrine (2300m) and Return to Imlil

On this day’s trek, you’ll head toward the Chamharouch Shrine, located at 2300 meters. The route takes you through remote Berber villages, along mountain streams, and past magnificent peaks. After visiting the shrine, enjoy lunch in a tranquil spot and then return to Imlil, where you will spend the night at your riad.

Day 6 - Trek to Tizi NTamaterte Pass (2200m) Imnane valley view

Your final day of trekking will take you to the Tizi N'Tamaterte Pass at 2200 meters. This 5- hour hike will introduce you to more of the stunning landscapes of the Atlas, with views over the surrounding valleys, rugged peaks, and Berber settlements. Once at the pass, take a break to savor a packed lunch before descending back to Imlil for your last night in the mountains.

Day 7 - Day Trip to Ourika Valley & Return to Marrakech

Enjoy a scenic drive to the Ourika Valley, located just south of Marrakech. Known for its lush greenery, traditional Berber villages, and stunning waterfalls, this valley is a peaceful retreat from the city. After exploring, return to Marrakech in the late afternoon for a relaxing evening.

Day 8 - Departure day

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight. Reflect on the unforgettable adventures and beautiful landscapes of your time in Morocco as you depart.
